On Wednesday, August 26, James was severely injured in an accident at home. He sustained bruising and traumatic swelling, a broken collarbone and rib, as well as a spiral fracture of his femur. Most of his injuries are on the left side of his body.

James underwent surgery on Thursday, August 27, to repair his leg, and thankfully, he did very well. ❤️ He is currently able to have clear liquids and can have small amounts of company at a time. He remains in the ICU and may be there for a few days, although we are hopeful he will soon be moved to a regular room where he can be more comfortable.

This has been a devastating and frightening time for James, his mom, his dad, and our entire family. We are doing everything we can to support them during this difficult journey.

Any donation, no matter the amount, would mean so much. The funds will go directly to James's mom to help with bills, gas, food, and the many things James will need when he comes home and begins his recovery.
