Hi, my name is Jackie and I am currently caring for my mom who is suffering from Cirrhosis of the Liver.. she was diagnosed in 2020 but as of 2025 things have gotten worse. My mom has had two cardiac arrest and has been in ICU on a ventilator three times (now being the third) since April.. All of her organs are now failing.. All of her doctors are saying “she is really sick and we are really worried about her making it through the nights” She was hospitalized for over a month, sent to a rehabilitation center, and finally home.. after spending a week at home she is now back in the hospital and had to be airlifted to another hospital in a different state. I am one of six kids. But I am the only one who has been able to get approved FMLA to be here with my mom every step of the way.. My job is secure but the time off is not paid.. I have a few major bills like my rent, car note, insurance, light bill, and needing to put gas in my car twice a week because the hospital is 1 hour 30mins away from me. I go back and forth everyday. While my mom is hospitalized I also have to maintain her household and my younger brother who will be a senior in high school this year. I am falling behind on bills because I am missing weeks of work to be here for my mom. She is currently intubated in ICU. Anything will help, all money will go towards my BILLS and being able to provide for my younger brother. Nothing is too big or too small. Thank you all in advance.
