Stand with Ivan Lewis, help with Crucial Cancer Medication

To all those who come across this, please take the time to read a little about someone dear to my family and community's hearts. He needs our help.

Ivan Lewis is Yavapai, O’odham and Piipaash elder, he is a good friend and relative to my Dad and our family. He is a father, a grandfather and a grassroots activist for native rights. He has always supported community cultural events, as a firekeeper and even security for events, or protests. He has put in hard work over the years including helping with traditional Piipaash burials and the Unity Run. He takes part in sun dance and prays for our families and our people.

He is very loved and respected by many across Turtle Island in all four directions.

Ivan has been battling with cancer for some time now. He has informed me that he has lost part of his bladder due to his illness, the cancer has spread to his bones, lymph nodes and intestines. He is not eligible for radiation due to it being in his intestines and lymph nodes.

He needs help paying for the rest of his medication and has $1500 still due which will cover his medication for the rest of the year.
