Help Me and My Mom Keep My Dad Home – Urgent Legal Support Needed

Hi everyone, my name is Israel Aguilar.

Our family is facing a heartbreaking and urgent situation. My father, Jose Mauro Aguilar Leanos, is a kind, hardworking man who has built a life here and given so much to me and my mom. He is now at risk of being deported to Mexico. We’re doing everything we can to fight for him to stay, but the legal process is complex and expensive — and my mom and I can’t do it alone.

Right now, he is being detained in the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility located in Broadview, Illinois, and that is all we know. The police came to our house suddenly and took him. They would not tell us anything more other than, that he would be taken to a processing center.

When my mom and I looked up the center, we found out it was an immigration processing center, and that he is at risk of deportation.
