Stand with Ignacio Against Fibroblastic Sarcoma

Hello, my name is Rafael Rueda and I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my father’s story.

My father Ignacio Moeller was hospitalized April 2nd because he was having trouble breathing and kept coughing for weeks for no reason. On that day they discover that he had 1 liter and 200 oz of liquid inside his right lung. After they drained the lung they did an xray and they found a tumor that was hitting the lung and causing trouble for him to breathe. They did a biopsy of the tumor while he was at the hospital to test it and find the reason of where the cancer came from and to verify what type of cancer was. After being at the hospital for 4 days he came home and had to take another week off from work based on the instructions of the Doctor. Couple days later the results came and my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. He had to go immediately on disability at his job because he couldn’t work with the condition he was in. The cancer is called fibroblastic sarcoma intimal which is a rare cancer that is not treated. Only .5% of the population who get it survive to an average of 2-5 years. The Doctors in Tampa and Miami have said that this cancer is a rare case and that there’s no treatment that they think can work. He started getting his radiation treatment since May 2nd for 2 weeks straight to find the possibility of shrinking the tumor and see if it works. After the radiation treatment is done they are taking him to the Moffitt Cancer Center to run more exams on him and start his chemo treatment. He’s going to be sorta of an “experiment” for some Doctors that are taking care of him just to find a chance of survival for him.

My father is a great human being, he’s not a smoker, he’s not a drinker, he never complains about anything until this day we do not understand the cause of it. And even the Doctors can’t explain how he got it. We have faith and we will keep praying for my father’s health. God does miracles and the medicine it’s advancing and keeps growing but I pray in Gods name they can give my dad the help that he needs. Any money donated will be used to help my father with traveling expenses, medical expenses, food, bills, etc.

I am doing anything that I can with my power to help them financially but it’s not enough to support my family.
