Hello. My name is Ieisha Cofield and truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my story. I am a mother of three children and on March 4, 2025, my son Arsenio Jackson Jr. was taken from us due to gun violence in Lexington, Kentucky. My son was taken from us without warning or mercy. My heart is shattered and the hearts of my other children are shattered. There are no words to explain the pain I feel of losing Ceno. I did not just lose my son, but I lost a future of memories, milestones, and moments we were supposed to share. The silence left behind is unbearable.
Even in grief, sadness and disappointment I have to continue to care for my other two children’s financial wellbeing, but I have been unable to fully commit to returning to work since the death of Ceno.
Can you imagine having to get up everyday to go to work through the pain and tears?
Everyday is a day of a rollercoaster of emotions so I am asking for support from my community to ease the financial burden during this difficult time.
Any and all donations will help us rebuild while navigating this new way of life. It will help with any and all household expenses and essential needs for my children and I.
If you are unable to give, I ask that you humbly share this message with your family and friends. Every prayer, every dollar and every share is a blessing for us. Thank you for your love, support and compassion during this time.
A Mother’s heart,
Ieisha
