Hi all,
This is Hesen Jabr, a beautiful, charismatic, professional and caring Registered Nurse.
Besides those qualities, she's bright, funny & a joy to be around whether you're her family member, friend or patient. She is an advocate for all as well as her Palestinian community.
She's received many accolades from patients & the institution that formerly employed her.
During the National Nurses Week, a time when nurses are honored in this country Hesen was bestowed the beautiful Sebastian Braun Compassionate Care award at NYU Langone Hospital. This award honors the work of nurses who provide excellent care for families experiencing still birth and fetal death. Hesen won this award because of the tremendous care she provides to families experiencing these terrible losses, as well as her supporting her colleagues to do the same.
On May 22nd, after receiving the award, Hesen was terminated due to what the Institution felt was "offensive" language.
I know what it's like to be suddenly terminated by this institution, and left wondering "How will I survive?", "how can I care for my family?" "what about insurance coverage?" Cobra health insurance, for example,
has astronomical costs.
I ask that you kindly assist in providing a helping hand to Miss Hesen Jabr, to provide a small amount of financial relief while she navigates this difficult season.
