Stand with Heroes of the Palisades Fire

My name is Luca Padua, and I’m a professional big wave surfer living in Malibu, CA. The ocean has taught me the importance of resilience, community, and stepping up when it matters most. That’s why I’m here today, asking for your help.

I’ve been on the ground in our community, seeing and feeling the devastating impact of the Palisades Fire. Many of our first responders - LA County Lifeguards, firefighters, and police officers - who dedicate their lives to protecting others, have lost their homes and everything they own. These heroes and their families need us now more than ever.

This is our opportunity to give back to those who give everything for us. We’re raising funds to provide immediate aid—temporary housing, food, clothing, and other essentials. Every dollar raised will go directly to those affected, and I’ll post updates on how your contributions are making a difference via my social media @lucapadua , @surfer_magazine, and many others.
