On August 24, 2025, our family suffered an unimaginable loss when Richard (Ricky) Ungerman, 58, and his beloved daughter Isabella (Bella) Ungerman, 18, suddenly and tragically lost their lives in a car accident. They were struck in a head on collision by a driver who swerved into the oncoming lane while Ricky was taking Bella to Texas A&M where she was just about to start as a freshman. Her older brother Henry (also at Texas A&M) was incredibly excited for his sister and best friend to join him at school this year.

Ricky was a proud father whose best qualities live on in his son, Henry. Bella was a bright, joyful young woman with endless potential and a heart full of love. Their absence leaves a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.

Henry and his loving mother Tanya are now facing an unimaginable future after the loss of Bella & Rick. Henry is a hardworking, determined young man who dreams of pursuing his college education. Many have asked how to best help Henry & Tanya in the wake of this tragedy, so we created this page. Supporting him in this next chapter is the most meaningful way we can honor Ricky and Bella's memory.
