Hi, my name is Heather.

I never imagined I’d be writing something like this, but life has taken a turn I could have never prepared for.

I’ve been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, which has now aggressively spread to my liver. In the coming days, I will be starting chemotherapy, and while I’m ready to fight with everything I have, the emotional and financial weight of this battle is overwhelming.

Due to my illness, I am no longer able to work. The mounting medical bills, treatments, and day-to-day expenses are becoming too much for my family to bear alone. I have a loving husband and four beautiful children — three sons and a daughter — who are my whole world. I want nothing more than to be here for them, to keep being their mom, their wife, their strength.
