#HaisleyStrong
Haisley is a vibrant 8-year-old soul who is in the fight of her life. After noticing a random issue with her right eye, I took Haisley to her doctor. She had the basic tests run and passed them all. However, that didn’t explain the concern for the strabismus (eye crossing). She was slated for a specialty appointment. Then she had an MRI, and minutes later it was confirmed that a mass was present. We learned that she has Rhabdomyosarcoma and she is stage 4.
Here’s what we know: the tumor has spread to her brain, neck, and lungs. She is on a very aggressive plan to stop the growth. Her care team is being aggressive with the treatment and there is a plan.
Due to the severity of her health, Haisley will not be able to attend the upcoming school year and will be homeschooled to protect her immune system.
Haisley is currently undergoing radiation daily for 6 weeks and chemotherapy for an extended time period.
She is still so full of life and never (if ever) complains. She loves lavender and is a Swifty (hey Taylor!). She is a dog lover and enjoys all things girlie! Ulta is her favorite store and she appreciates skincare/self-care Sundays even at her age.
In the coming months, we would appreciate and accept your generosity as she is on the road to complete healing and recovery.
