Standing with Greg and helping him fight!

Donation protected
I am Deborah Stump. I am creating this GoFundMe for a very dear friend, Greg Cessna (with his permission to do so).

Here is a little back story on Greg: He is a family man. He and his wife, Angie, have been together for over 22 years. They have lived in Fremont for 18 years, raising 5 children, putting them through school, and enjoying all kinds of sports and activities. Greg is a hard worker, father, grandfather, and a great friend who would do anything for anyone. He enjoys his family time and loves his dogs (maybe more than his wife, LOL). Greg has worked for the same company for 23 years and unfortunately is unbale to work. There are so many things he usually enjoys doing and is unable to now, like camping, kayaking, and singing karaoke (actually, this is how he and Angie met).

Greg is a diabetic. He had a heart attack 15 years ago and had to have 2 stents put in. He also has had 3 back surgeries over the last 15 years. Greg has never given up and continues to fight and always worked to provide for his family.

In 2023, he had to have open-heart surgery. He never really completely recovered from that surgery.
Mid-summer 2024, Greg was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He began having chemo and went through several rounds of infusions. Unfortunately, it did not help shrink the tumor. During this time, Greg continued to work. Since the infusions did not work, they tried radiation for several weeks. In January of 2025, Greg underwent a 16-hour surgery and is still trying to recover from this. He has reached the end of his short-term disability, which was much less than what he would make working. They have depleted their savings, and he and his wife are struggling financially with all the trips to Fort Wayne for appointments, infusions, the cost of co-pays, treatments, medications he has to take daily, and all of this on top of their normal monthly bills. His wife works every day, and she is trying her best to take care of everything.

On top of all of this, Greg's mother passed away unexpectedly, and the family had to travel to Pennsylvania for the funeral, which took a toll on Greg.

I am reaching out to family, friends, and friends of friends on behalf of Greg and his family, asking for help during this difficult time. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to them and would go directly towards their expenses for medical and household bills.

If you are unable to give, please consider sharing this campaign with others who may be able to help. Your support—financial, emotional, or spiritual—is deeply appreciated.
