Stand With Giancarlo In His Battle Against Leukemia
Donation protected
For those of you that know Giancarlo, you already know how contagious his joy is and how he always lights up everywhere he goes with his smile. From playing his tuba in the marching band, to being a crafty handyman and tinkerer, to putting his all in everything he does, Giancarlo is usually the one that we lean on and go to for support.
Now it’s our turn to support Giancarlo.
On Wednesday, May 22nd, our world was shaken up when he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, which is an aggressive form of blood cancer. He is currently receiving care and treatment at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, where he has started chemotherapy and will likely continue staying there for the next couple months.
Giancarlo is a 19 year old student at Cal Poly and is not only the best brother, son, friend, teacher, and fisherman, but he is also incredibly valiant, kind-hearted, and valued by his community, both in his hometown of Pittsburg, CA, and in his college community in San Luis Obispo.
To this community, we kindly ask that you contribute to helping Giancarlo and his family. Cancer is something that should be able to be fought without the additional pressure of the financial stresses that often come with hospital bills and all other associated costs.
Any contribution, big or small, whether it’s a donation or just sharing, helps relieve this pressure on him and his family and will allow them more freedom in helping Giancarlo get back to health.
Thank you for your support and generosity; only together can we fight and beat cancer.
