Hi my name is Kathy Schimpf. I met Geraldine Toro Vera Kock as a frequent visitor to Aruba and a lover of animals. Geraldine is the power behind Nine Lives Aruba, rescuing and saving countless numbers of Aruban critters. But more than that she’s a wonderful mother to her 4 sons and her beautiful nieces.

Geraldine’s 15 year old niece Angeliis, who just had her quincinera, was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor. In the last two weeks multiple surgeries and now unfortunately she is in ICU with meningitis. She is being transported to Colombia for emergency care. Geraldine is following. The cost of airfare, and all associated expenses will be astronomical.Geraldine is not the person to ask for anything for herself but right now she needs us to help.
