Justice for Gemma — Help Us Fight Child Abuse

My name is Elyse, and I’m urgently seeking legal help to hold those responsible for the abuse and threats my 4-year-old daughter, Gemma, endured at her preschool.

What happened?

On March 17, 2025, Gemma was assaulted, threatened, and beaten at a local Park District "play school" by her teacher, staff, and another child. She was also bullied, called hurtful names, and subjected to physical violence, including being hit in the head and throat. She confided that the teacher told her not to tell me or we would both be shot.

Despite my repeated requests, I have not received any reports or footage of the injuries, nor have I been shown the videos I requested for months, including public records I requested via FOIA. The staff have denied everything, claiming she "scratched herself," even when I found bruises, welts, and bloody scratches on her body.

Why am I fundraising?

I need legal representation to access the videos and hold those responsible accountable.

My 4 year old daughter was ALWAYS a fun loving, caring, kind little girl, who never hurt anyone, including herself! UNTIL she attended this park district play school.

no report was given of this incident either!! even if that were true, and it's not. They showed me the bloody scratches and I couldn't believe it.

Where is the report???? Why didn't you call me????
