On Saturday, November 23, 2024, Gary Groesser, a dedicated foreman at Neuco, and his young child faced a life-altering moment when they were struck by a vehicle on Spit Brook Road in Nashua after a visit to Roby Park. As the family was securing their little ones in the car, they saw their 2-year-old son, Wesley, dash toward the street. Without hesitation, Gary sprinted after his son, and in a brave act of love, he shielded Wesley, taking the brunt of the impact himself. Gary was thrown 10 to 15 feet, yet he saved his son’s life at a great personal cost. Now, he fights for his life in critical condition at Mass General.
