Stand with Enzo Ignacio: Overcome Injustice

We are sponsoring this fundraiser for Enzo Ignacio, a disabled veteran who was recently fired by EPA. Enzo served in the Marine Corps from 2016-2020 and was stationed in Camp Pendleton, CA. His earned the rank of Corporal, and he received an honorable discharge.

He served in the Army National Guard from 2020-2022 and was medically retired due to service connected disabilities in 2022.

When working for EPA as a IP specialist, Enzo used a VPN that obscured his IP address. The Agency accused him of working from unreported telework locations. The charges are nonsensical, are internally inconsistent and show no understanding of how VPNs work. Because Enzo was fired while still on probation, he has little recourse to rectify this wrong done to him. To add to his woes, Enzo can't collect unemployment benefits under Illinois law because he was let go for misconduct. We are setting up this page to help with his medical expenses and his mortgage.
