Hi, I'm Fionna. I recently found out that I have Endometrial Cancer at Grade 1, meaning the cancer cells look similar to normal cells and tend to grow slowly. This is a good prognosis, especially since it was caught early at stage 1.
I am going on hormone therapy so I can lose some weight, and then they want to go in and do a hysterectomy (in about a year's time). However, I fall just above the poverty line in my state to get full assistance with my medical care. This is why I am asking for help.
For April, I have 4 appointments, but the main ones I need help with are these two:
On the 29th, I have an appointment with a Bariatric Surgeon - it will be $200 just to see him out of pocket.
I also have a CT scan on the 30th of April that is going to be over $1200.00 out of pocket to make sure the cancer isn't anywhere else in my body.
There are also medicines and missed work for the appointments and bills.
Any help would be grateful, but if you can't, that's fine too. Please share so perhaps others can?
