A close friend of mine was recently in a serious car accident that left her car completely totaled and caused injuries that are now preventing her from being able to work. As a single mother, she already carries so much on her shoulders—but now, without a car and with medical bills beginning to add up, she's facing an overwhelming amount of pressure just to cover basic needs.
