Support Erin in Her Time of Need

Please donate to support our beautiful, generous friend who is in a time of need. Y'all know Erin Dillon is a special being, perhaps brought to us from another planet (hehe Erin Alien) to grace us with her puns, wit and wordsmithing, hot beats, and to remind us of the beauty and resilience people can show over years of facing challenges.

Erin has recently had a medical emergency, and she's currently receiving care at FHE Health in Deerfield Beach, Florida. She is projected to be there until September.

In short, Erin has been through a whole lot over the years. Recently she has had a variety of physical health issues like intense dental work and two serious concussions. Her spirit and mental health is challenged each day as she just tries to be her authentic self. Living as a transwoman in Texas, Erin, faces a lot of hate and discrimination, that deeply affect her health and wellbeing. The constant stress of dealing with hostility takes a toll on her mental and emotional state, making it harder for her to feel safe and get the resources she needs. She deserves so much better, and while it will take a long time to change transphobia in Texas, we do have an immediate chance to support our friend which will make a huge difference in her life.

Erin has a large, awesome network of friends and chosen family. We are asking y’all to help raise $15,000. Here’s the breakdown: $6000 to cover the cost of her stay at FHE Health, $500 for flight home, $2500 to cover rent and bills during her stay, $4,000 for recent and upcoming medical and dental bills, and $2000 for ongoing support and daily expenses through September.
