Bloomfield has been greatly affected by the New Year’s Eve break-in at Pasticceria Italia Bakery.

Overnight, the local landmark of over 40 years was broken into.

According to Chef Emiddio Botta, “There is glass everywhere, the place is destroyed—they took everything—they even destroyed my father’s legacy garden—I’m crying.”

Additionally, according to Emiddio, when he contacted the mall landlord, he found out that “the mall has no working cameras”—so there is no video evidence at all from the outside of the Wintonbury Mall!
