My 8-month-old daughter Ellie was diagnosed with Leukemia (B-ALL with a KMT2A Gene Rearrangement) on January 7th, 2024. She just finished round one of chemo and still has 2 years of chemo ahead of her. Since Ellie was diagnosed under the age of 1 and has a KMT2A Gene Rearrangement, her cancer is difficult to treat and has historically had a bad survival rate. They do have a new treatment that they are hopeful will greatly improve her chances, however.

I have come to learn that caring for a child with cancer is a full-time job. We are worried about the coming medical bills of 2 years of on and off inpatient stays, and any longer term complications that may arise, and her insurance has already tried to deny paying for her first month of inpatient, so we are getting on top of it now by starting a GoFundMe. We also have the costs of traveling back and forth to the hospital, supplies to make her care easier and safer, etc. To the people who have reached out wanting to donate, your help is appreciated.
