Stand With Eli: Defend LGBTQ Voices

My name is Eli and I am a queer scholar who refuses to be ignored. In the last two months, there has been a dedicated effort from the federal government to erase the existence of trans Americans in nearly every part of society. I refuse to stand by and allow that to happen.

This September I will begin working on my Masters in Asian Languages and Literature at the University of Washington where my primary research will center around the study of subversive depections of gender and sexuality in classical literature and how those classic themes are used today to evade the heavy handed anti-LGBTQ+ censorship regulations of the CCP as more and more contemporary queer stories are published and adapted for the screen.
