Meet Eitan: a truly remarkable 20-year-old who lights up every room with his kindness, compassion, positive outlook, and unwavering determination to help others. Eitan has always had giving in his heart, regularly participating in fundraising efforts and events for numerous non-profits.

Entering his Junior year at UMass Amherst, Eitan is not just an honors student pursuing a dual degree in Business at the Isenberg School of Management and biochemistry; he's a young man driven by a powerful dream—to become a pediatrician, dedicating his life to saving others.

In December 2024, Eitan's journey took an unexpected and challenging turn. Experiencing severe brain swelling and debilitating symptoms, he underwent three critical surgeries within just three months. The first surgery revealed a malignant tumor in his thyroid. Two subsequent surgeries, lasting over 15 hours, were needed to alleviate fluid buildup in his brain and to insert tubing to prevent further swelling.

Biopsy results identified a rare and unnamed form of brain cancer—so uncommon that the sample was sent to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for further analysis.

Because of the extraordinary complexity and rarity of his case, some of the nation's top oncologists have referred Eitan from his initial care in Boston to the renowned Mayo Clinic in Minneapolis, MN.

The road ahead for Eitan is challenging. The journey to treatment and healing at the Mayo Clinic comes with significant emotional, physical, and financial burdens. This is where your help can make an incredible difference.
