**Help Easton Fight Ewing Sarcoma**
Hello to all those who love Easton Goodwin!
Our wonderful friend, Lindy Teraji's life took an unexpected turn in September, when her beloved son Easton was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of bone cancer. At just 10 years old, Easton is now facing a battle no child should ever have to fight. We are doing everything we can to support them both on this difficult journey, but we need your help.
Easton’s treatment plan is intense—12 weeks of chemotherapy followed by surgery, and then another 16 weeks of further treatment. We are fully committed to fighting this battle alongside him, but as you can imagine, it’s taken a toll on them both emotionally and financially.
Easton has already completed his second round of Chemo, that has brought a host of side effects that he has faced head-on with his signature humor and strength. Nausea, painful mouth sores, deep exhaustion, and more recently, hair loss have tested him, but Easton’s spirit remains unwavering.
As a pediatric nurse, Lindy has dedicated her 19-year career to caring for other parents’ children, but now finds herself in a position she never imagined—fighting for her own child's life.
She recently changed jobs to work at HonorHealth Forensics, and because of this, doesn't qualify for FMLA or paid leave. She works three nights a week, but Easton’s treatments and his day-to-day care, has resulted in a significant loss of income. And is expected to continue.
While she is fortunate to have supportive family nearby, the costs of treatment, travel to medical appointments, and living expenses are overwhelming. They have been managing as best they can, but the financial strain is growing, and we are asking for your support to help with the significant medical bills and the additional unexpected costs. We want her focus to be solely on Easton's comfort and healing.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference in ensuring that Easton gets the care he needs and that she can be there every step of the way as he fights this battle. We are incredibly grateful for any contribution, as well as for your prayers and words of encouragement.
Thank you for standing strong with Easton and his family.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Heather Andrews
