Stand with Duane in His Cancer Battle

Hi! My name is Aileen and w/ his permission, I am doing a GoFundMe for my brother Duane. He and his wife Terri and going through a difficult time right now due to Duane's medical situation.

In January 2024, Duane was diagnosed w/ Stage 3 Lung Cancer. The tumor was aggressive and when they found it, it was almost the size of a football, consuming his entire right lung. Aggressive chemo treatments started right away, which put Duane out of work - which means, no paycheck.

Chemo treatments continued through May. They racked his body but they reduced to size of the tumor to a little bigger than the size of a grapefruit. Surgery was scheduled.

Duane had his surgery in Westchester on May 29th. The surgery lasted 10 hours and took a big toll on him. His surgeon was phenomenal and was able to remove the entire cancerous tumor, but he also lost 3/4 of his right lung. The Dr had to remove the entire upper lobe and a good portion of the lower. He has a long road to recovery, but he is anxious to heal and get back to work. They need his paycheck to survive.

Duane and Terri have never asked for a dime from anyone. All their lives, they have been your average working class people, making a living, paying their bills, and living modestly.

W/ Duane's permission, we are asking for help. A couple family members do already help out monthly, but it just isn't enough. They have rent to pay, a few basic living bills, groceries, a lot of medical bills, etc. They don't live a lavish lifestyle, so any amount you give, will go to their basic needs.

I'm setting the goal high, because they deserve it, and need it.
