Dr. Salem is a highly skilled, compassionate interventional cardiologist who dedicated his entire life to one purpose: becoming a physician and saving lives. Through years of sacrifice, relentless study, and tireless work, he achieved that goal, touching the lives of countless patients and families along the way. Medicine was not just his career; it was his calling.

During an extremely difficult and contentious divorce, Dr. Salem became the target of a very malicious and vindictive destructive and smear campaign in which every possible system was turned against him. He found himself simultaneously entangled with the criminal court, family court, Child Protective Services, Homeland Security, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the Texas Medical Board. Dr. Salem faced a swarm of calculated and meticulously engineered attacks in order to keep Dr. Salem away from the what he loves the most; his 3 children (that he has not seen in over 2 years), his patients, his career, his passion of flying airplanes, and his dedication to medicine. Dr. Salem faced numerous frivolous criminal charges, and his medical and pilot license have been targeted. Even a medical license abroad and career overseas has also been attacked. Dr. Salem has prevailed and is cleared by all the above systems except one: the Texas Medical Board.

Based solely on false allegations, the Texas Medical Board took the extraordinary step of immediately and emergently removing Dr. Salem from medical practice without informing him of a complaint, without conducting a proper investigation and without giving him an opportunity to respond or defend himself against false allegations. The Texas Medical Board even publicly published those false allegations as true facts and findings, tarnishing Dr. Salem’s reputation. His career was halted overnight, leaving many patients without the medical care he rendered, and leaving Dr. Salem with no income.

Despite the complete absence of proof, and despite extensive documentation and evidence supporting his innocence presented to the Medical Board, the Medical Board has continued to deny reinstatement of his license unless Dr. Salem agrees to admit guilt for false allegations. Dr. Salem has refused to compromise his integrity and continued to fight the Texas Medical Board for justice.

After more than 20 months of relentless legal battles, the Board maintains its position, so Dr. Salem continues his legal battle with the Medical Board to restore his name and career.

During this prolonged fight, Dr. Salem has been unable to work. He has exhausted his savings and retirement funds entirely to cover legal fees and basic living expenses, simply to defend himself against these coordinated actions and to preserve his name, career, and future.
