"Hi, I'm Mohammed Manaa. I'm a Palestinian doctor from Gaza. My son Moneer, 8, and my son Noor, 2, are my children. My wife and I had established a little clinic and a cosy house in Gaza that was full of love and memories before a terrible conflict tore through our lives”

“On October 7, everything changed. Our home, business, and car were all destroyed during the battle, forcing us to evacuate to the southern part of Gaza for 10 times , amidst incessant bombings, escaping a path of ruin and turmoil, leaving everything behind with just the clothing on our backs… We sheltered in a small house crowded with 80 others, living in constant fear, without clean water, food, or electricity.”

“My son suffered from an infectious diseases due to the awful conditions, and there was no inadequate medical care in our displacement, and we were cut off from the world without internet amidst the incessant sound of battle. For more than three months, we endured unthinkable situations.We were forced to displaced to new area , this house was destroyed and family scattered since then”

“My son, who is only learning to speak, instead of having a typical childhood, repeats terms like "bombing sound, ambulance," and "I'm afraid." He was crying because of the ongoing bombardment and large explosions. We have lost family members and very close friends, and each day brings the prospect of further tragedy.”

“Our main concern is my kids future, where he will live, study, and grow up. With everything lost, his chances are grim. We want to offer him with a life of safety, sustenance, education, and, most importantly, serenity. These are the basic rights of a child.”

“ I also worry about my father ,mother , brothers and sisters , who has been a pillar of strength for our family, I hope to offer them a semblance of security and comfort. As we look towards rebuilding, we face the reality of having no home or budget”

All of the proceeds will go towards getting Dr. Manaa and his family to safety as soon as possible. This family, like thousands of others in Palestine, have lived through unspeakable circumstances throughout the past 8 months. His beautiful children’s first memories are riddled with destruction and violence - things that no child or human in general should ever have to experience.

Their situation is especially dire considering the invasion on Rafah. According to Amnesty International “Over 1.5 million people, including 600,000 children, are at serious risk; more than 450,000 Palestinians have fled Rafah since Israel first issued unlawful “evacuation orders” there on May 6”. Gazans have nowhere left to flee to, food and aid are being withheld and banned from entering Gaza, and fees to cross into Egypt (with no guarantee of ever being able to return to Palestine) are $5000 a person at minimum.
