Michelle Bravo, MD, a beloved neurologist and medical educator, had to leave her job at the University of Miami in September 2025 after the so-called watchdog group "Stop Antisemitism" doxxed her on their social media pages. She was unjustly and inaccurately accused of antisemitism and condoning violence for sharing a tweet that criticized Charlie Kirk's attitude toward the genocide of the Palestinian people and included a quote from Malcolm X.
We know she was targeted because she stood with Palestine and because of the conflation of any criticism of Israel with antisemitism. We are raising money to help cover legal fees to fight this non-profit, which seems to do little more than spotlight individuals who are critical of Israel, and attempt to damage their reputations and credibility. They've singled out other public figures who have been vocal in calling for the end of the genocide, including children's educator and YouTuber Ms. Rachel and many others. Funds collected may help with other financial stressors related to these accusations, including relocation and publicity around the case.
Let's support Dr. Bravo, who is highly regarded by her students, coworkers, and patients! Let's stand up to right-wing hate groups who think they can intimidate us and limit our free speech!
