Hi, I'm Diana Thornhill. I've been an infant care specialist for over 20 years. As a baby nurse, I provide 24 hour in-home care for newborns. This is my life's work that brings me a great deal of satisfaction and joy. Unfortunately, for the past year I have not gotten any baby nursing jobs, perhaps due to my age. As I am soon to be 84, maybe this causes potential clients to not have faith in my abilities. However, my past clients are aware of my ability to still provide excellent care for their little angels. Through the agencies that have connected me to past clients, I have been applying for positions locally and out of state and I've had no luck aside from a few phone interviews that never materialized into anything more. I also created a website to advertise my consultancy, also with no luck. I had funds saved up for a rainy day, but my rainy days have lasted too long. I have no more savings, not enough steady income, and I am now very close to losing my housing. I don't know what else to do but ask for financial help or housing support. Thank you for reading my story and for considering a contribution.
