Stand with Devin in His Fight to Heal

It is with deep sadness to say that on July 4th Devin was involved in a life changing injury. To our knowledge he was swimming and dove into the water. and landed in the water wrong which resulted in breaking his neck. This put pressure on his spine and Devin was immediately flown to Duluth to seek medical treatment. He was rushed into surgery, which went well. But, the doctors are predicting that there is only a 5% chance that he will be able to walk again. This accident has cause him to break his C5 & C6 spine which helps control his diaphragm, lungs and major nerves. That being said, he has been out on a ventilator since he isn’t able to breath on his own. Soon, they will be putting a trach to help him breathe. In result, he will have little feeling from the neck down and be paralyzed.

This situation is life changing not only for him but for us as a family. With hospital bills, traveling back and forth, hotel stays and new necessities to keep him strong, we would all really appreciate your donation to help us out. Devin has a little girl back home that he needs to get back to. He’s so young and still has so much ahead of him. Please help and get him back to some normality.
