I'm Sabrina, a veteran hospitality worker of 30 years, and I am raising money for my friend Derrick. In March of this year, on his 55th birthday, he had to have his big toe amputated because of a bone infection caused by a nick when clipping his toenails. Derrick is diabetic, so his body had trouble healing, and the amputations continued. He's had 4. He is now waiting on his prosthesis and then physical therapy to get him mobile again. He's a machinist and welder and has not been able to work throughout this ordeal. We need to raise money for Derrick's immediate needs that insurance, etc. doesn't cover.

Derrick is a great guy with wicked humor and a love of music. He's been a light for me and lifted me up on so many of my darkest days. Please help me return the favor. I can't think of anyone who deserves this more.
