Friends and employees of owners of Black River Drive In are requesting help for the owners, Denise and Loren Knapp. Denise has recently been diagnosed with a rapid onset of ALS, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. There is no cure. Started with symptoms in May 2025 and rapidly left her very weak by July 2025. Monies collected will help immensely with medical bills, ramp needed at home, need to install bathroom on first floor of home, medication and therapy costs and travel expenses to doctors appointment. Staff at the Drive In are organizing a benefit to be held at the grounds on August 16 by collecting donations and making baskets to sell. Opened up the Drive In to vendors.
