My name is Jazmine Martin, and I’m the sister of Denise Cox.

I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult moments in our lives. Not long ago, Denise began experiencing severe stomach pain. Doctors discovered a 24cm by 18cm tumor in her abdomen, and we hoped and prayed it would be non-cancerous. She underwent surgery to have it removed, and while the surgery went well, what followed changed everything.

Shortly after the procedure, Denise suffered a seizure. A scan revealed a 5cm mass growing in her head. That’s when we received the heartbreaking diagnosis squamous cell carcinoma.

Thankfully, the doctors were able to remove the tumor near her brain without damaging her motor functions, and she is still the strong, loving wife and mother we’ve always known. But now we face the uncertainty of what comes next. We are currently waiting to learn what stage the cancer is in so that her treatment plan can begin.

In the meantime, we are doing everything we can to support Denise physically, emotionally, and financially. She needs time to rest, heal, and prepare for what lies ahead. We’re asking for help to cover her living expenses and medical costs so she can focus fully on healing without the stress of bills piling up.
