Stand with Debra: A Wife, A Warrior, A Wife in Need

My name is Julian, and with a heavy heart, I’m asking for your help, something I never imagined I’d have to do.

My wife, Debra, has been battling a relentless series of disabling medical conditions for years. Once a vibrant, energetic woman full of life, she now requires a wheelchair just to complete the simplest tasks. She suffers from debilitating neuropathy, significant bone degeneration, progressive loss of function in her legs and feet, and most recently, Type II Diabetes, all while enduring ongoing pain that robs her of peace, mobility, and independence.

Her condition began unexpectedly after what seemed like a simple walk. She returned showing stroke-like symptoms (a TIA), and from that terrifying day on, everything changed.

We’ve been married for over 21 years, and I’ve never once wavered in my vows. I am committed to caring for Debra through every storm, but the financial burden is becoming too much to carry alone. Her countless doctor appointments, emergency room visits, surgeries, medications, and mobility needs have devastated our finances. Without the support of a second income, and no cure in sight, we are drowning in debt, often forced to choose between food and medication.

Starting this GoFundMe is not easy for me. As a man, I’ve always believed in solving problems with my own two hands. But this time, I’m reaching out, because love and pride alone can’t pay the bills or ease Debra’s pain.
