Stand with Dawn in Her Battle with Cancer

Hi, my name is Dawn Hodges.

I was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphatic Leukemia, CLL in 2015. I has been under chemotherapy treatment for the last year at City of Hope Research Hospital.

Upon my yearly review, it was discovered the cancer has spread to my mouth. I will be seeing an ENT cancer specialist at City of Hope and will continue for another year with the chemotherapy treatment.

I am not able to work during my chemotherapy treatments. I have Medicare Coverage, but all my cancer care treatments are not covered by insurance.

Last year I accumulated a huge cancer care and cancer dental care bill due to the damage caused by my cancer and chemotherapy treatments. I had hoped I was in good shape but upon my check up a few weeks ago, I have continued damage from the cancer and treatment. I am still paying on last year's bills and now will have added expenses.

My costs are going to be exorbitant, and I need to ask for help.

I am disabled at this time and can not work. I am housebound most of the time.

I was a single parent and raised my 2 sons alone. I was always able to give my sons an active healthy life and education.

I am reaching out to all of my friends and family to help me pay for these treatments. Anything will help including prayers.
