Stand with Dave in His Fight Against Cancer

Donation protected
Hello everyone, I would like to introduce you to a close friend of mine, Dave Kelch. This is a picture of Dave and his beautiful family. Next to him is his lovely wife Rockie, daughter Alyssa, sons Andrew and Alex and granddaughter Mellani. Dave has served his country his entire life, first in the Navy, and currently as an Air Traffic Controller for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Dave just celebrated his 49th birthday this month and is not eligible to retire until next June.

A little over a month ago Dave suffered a seizure while working on his car. He was airlifted to St. Josephs Hospital and underwent extensive testing and scans to find out why a person of such a young age would suffer from a seizure. After many visits and appointments with various doctors and specialists it was determined that Dave has level 4 Glioblastoma. A rare type of brain cancer that most do not survive. Shortly after his diagnosis he had surgery to remove a mass from his brain. The doctor said he was able to remove most of the tumor however, with this rare type of cancer it regenerates and grows back very quickly. The average life expectancy after diagnosis is 12-18 months. Dave is determined to beat the odds but he needs our help. At the recommendation of his Oncologist Dave will start his treatments locally but depending on how things progress he may receive some of his treatments in Houston, TX. As we all know healthcare does not cover everything. The expected cost is unknown and financial support is needed at this stage of his battle so he and his family can have a little peace of mind. Regardless of size, your donation will make a significant difference in Dave’s journey and future.

I know times are tough and some people don’t have the means to give and I understand. If you can’t give please say a prayer for Dave and his family, it’s greatly appreciated.
