Stand With Darryl in His Healing Journey

Hello my name is Darryl Graham. On the evening of 2/11/25 I was brutally attacked and shot in the abdomen and left for dead. After surgeries and waking up a couple days later,and trying to come to grips with what happened. I've had to have some intestines and part of my colon removed. Hopefully the nerve damage isn't permanent as I'm beginning my road to recovery. Relearning to walk and basic needs. Thank God I have a family and friends for some support. I couldn't begin to imagine this for someone less fortunate. I've tried to do this alone and as stubborn as I am has realized I need assistance not attention. I've turned down news interviews not seeking a spot light. I will point out I have the utmost confidence in the police to do their job as they have shown me their diligence. As far as the crime itself I've been advised not to discuss to many details and the offender has yet to be apprehended. I've reached out to several of these so called Victom funding places are a joke and Mayor Johnson should and Governor prizker should be ashamed. Outside the mounting expenses I'm trying to allocate some funds to be able to setup a reward for information. I've reached out to my alderman to ask why wasn't our community notified that this animal was on the lose. No response from Mosley. Now unfortunately I was released from hospital on 2/19/25 only to return today due to complications, possible infection and loss of some motor skills. I won't flood this with horrible pictures as see no purpose. I honestly felt I could handle this alone but I cannot. So please stand with me until I am able to stand once again on my own . I celebrate that God wasn't ready for me and my new purpose may come from this tragedy. God bless you all and any help to post a reward and assistance will be greatly appreciated.
