Stand with Damon & Kristen Against Cancer

Donation protected
My name is Tabatha. I’ve spent the majority of my life as a mother and now a grandmother. God has blessed me and my family more than words can ever say. God has blessed my children with a desire to serve him faithfully and to have spouses that are faithfully serving him as well.

A few years ago my oldest son, Damon and his wife Kristen found out she had cancer sick and under gone treatment and surgery. Just as quickly as things had begun to get better bad news was on the horizon. We was told she had overran cancer. She started going through treatments once again and during a scan we was told there was a spot on her breast. They have had more treatment for that. In addition she lost her insurance and all the money they had put toward the deductible. As many of you know these scans, treatments, blood test and medicine cost a fortune.

All that being said, she is the most selfless person I know. If she knows there’s a need she is on top of it to find a way to give, help or support. I have personally seen her worry over other people who might be facing cancer, grief or struggling with day to day problems. All while these two are faithful members in the church. They are faithful to minister to others, with worship and praise. They praise God even when their hearts are being broken and don’t understand why these things are happening.

These two would never reach out to anyone and ask for help. As their mom I see the struggle and the need. They are exhausting all their funds, as well as emotions on trying to fight this dreadful disease called cancer.
I know my God is faithful to heal. While these two are fighting and leaning on God to fight this battle. I think we should step out and help relieve some of this burden. This is where our actions speak louder than our words and where our knees meet the pavement.

I as their mother would like them to know how much they are loved, seen and appreciated. We see the sacrifice you put in and please know it’s not in vain. Thank you all for your help! Please pray today, and ask God how you can help this God fearing couple in their fight
