Hello!

My name is Dalisia Ballinger, and I'm a hardworking mom and journalist from Memphis, TN. If you're here, you've probably met me on TikTok sharing my experience of the National Guard for the past few weeks here in the city. While I received a lot of positive wishes, I received a lot of backlash....mainly from the communities that I serve.

Eventually, the videos made it to my former employer, a black news publication in the city. This publication has been around for over 60 years, so it's well-known around town. Anyways, I was met with an ultimatum. Either take the videos down, or your job. Even with advising the bigger opportunities such as going on a national Fox News show, I was told that because Fox in particular was pro-Trump, I would no longer work for the company should I move forward.

By the next day, I was removed from all their social media accounts, and all my assignments were scrapped, leaving me feeling extremely hurt, all because I thanked our president. I am grateful and I'm not ashamed!

I would really love your help. Now sure what life is going to be like, but I do know God is good. Whatever you send will definitely help out!
