Hello friends.
As many of you know, Jason Cruz’s son, has been sick for almost a year now. He’s been fighting fungal memingitis (Curvilaria) as hard as he possibly can. The oral anti fungal medication has not been working. The fungus has now built up a resistance to the IV anti fungal med and his body has become overwhelmed with the infection. It has been a very tough year for the entire family and he has been such a fighter! Unfortunately, there are no medical or surgical interventions that will help him.
Jonas will be transitioning to Hospice care. They are making arrangements today and he will be transported to his mom’s (Grace’s) house. He should be there either early evening today or sometime tomorrow (most likely tomorrow).
