In the past year, Corinne’s life transformed in ways no one could have imagined.

A hardworking independent mom, Corinne has always shown up for her son Bobby, for her community, and for every guest she’s guided through the mountains and rivers of Colorado and Utah. She has spent years building a life rooted in the outdoors: from navigating powerful river currents as a river guide, to leading snowmobile tours through breathtaking alpine terrain in the Rocky Mountains. Her dedication, resilience, and work ethic are unmatched.

But this year brought a storm she never saw coming.

Spring/Summer 2025

Corinne fought to create a safe, loving environment for her son. In July, after many obstacles they relocated to the small mountain town of Red Cliff, Colorado, rebuilding their lives in a new community with hope and optimism of a new job and career.

October 15

Just when it felt like a fresh start was finally forming, Corinne received the devastating news:

➡️ Stage 2 HER2+ breast cancer

Within days, she was thrown into a whirlwind of doctor appointments, imaging, and treatment planning… all while being the primary caregiver for her 8-year-old son.

October 17

Only 48 hours later, Corinne was informed from corporate that her new job, which was her main source of stability and income, was being ‘eliminated’, even after relocating to get what she thought was a stable future with a company she’d dedicated years to.

Despite all of this, she continues to show the same courage and grit she brings to the rivers, mountains, and raising her son.

She will soon begin 5 months of aggressive chemotherapy, followed by surgery and radiation treatment, in order to have the best chance at beating this disease.
