Stand with Cody & Randy in Their Time of Need

Hi there, my name is Cody!

Sincerely and most humbly I come to ask for monetary help. Oh my gracious, as of tomorrow, my husband, Randy and I will be financially under water & distressed.

I had to have major back surgery on May 20th, with a 5 day stay in the hospital (not expected), unable to work since (FIVE WEEKS), also unable to work for an ADDITIONAL FIVE WEEKS (also, unexpected) as per Doctor's orders and abilities. ( Had to have outpatient knee surgery 3 1/2 weeks prior, limiting work then, as well, OH MY WORD!)

Randy and I tried to prepare for my back surgery as well as possible, but were faced with much more required time off work. As we’re lucky enough for this to be temporary, at this point I’m still being required to be lying laterally 80% of the time,

( somewhat bedridden, but I hate to use that word, especially when some are permanently so).

In my normal life, I am usually the helper and giver, however, current circumstances have required me to concede to my pride and request big help and assistance.

My photography job is physically demanding, and comes with no corporate “sick leave/pay”. I’m so blessed with and love what I do, but when I can’t work, there are no paychecks and we are beyond struggling.

All of the mandatory pre surgery payments and temporary inability to work have depleted our savings. Regular bills and huge medical bills are piling up, with no means for me to add to Randy's full time income to keep us afloat. (And, he deserves an award for his sweet caretaking and all the extra chores he’s tending to while I’m recovering!)

God has so blessed us so much, thus far, with meals and some monetary assistance from our family and church, but are really in need of more, and simply will not make it through without your gracious, gracious help, monetarily, and as many prayers as we can get, as well!

ONE MORE ROADBLOCK!

I had to have a total knee replacement 2 days ago, Friday 13th, posing a couple more weeks unable to work, WHOA!

This has been the most difficult, painful and stressful circumstance & recovery I’ve ever been through, and have had to trust the Lord, forget my pride and ask for help.
