Stand with Coach Wolfie in His Toughest Fight
Our Family’s Story: Our family has received devastating news: my husband, Wolfie, has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that has spread to his liver. This cancer is aggressive, and there is no cure. The only option is extensive treatments to give us more precious time together. With the diagnosis coming just over two weeks ago, the medical bills are already overwhelming. (His chemotherapy begins on 11/11/25.)
About “Coach Wolfie”: For years, “Coach Wolfie” has given selflessly to our community. He dedicated countless hours to the Essex Youth Hockey Association, mentoring children and even playing Santa Claus for the little ones. He served as a Cub Scout Leader, guiding our son and many others, while also supporting our daughter in music and track and field.
As an electrician, Wolfie is known for his honesty, kindness, and dedication. Customers, friends, and even strangers have relied on him in emergencies, and he always answers the call—because he truly cares.
Why We’re Asking for Help: Now, Wolfie is the one who needs support. A man who wears his heart on his sleeve, who loves his family and friends beyond measure, and who has always been there for others, is now facing the hardest battle of his life.
This is incredibly difficult for us. We’ve always been on the giving end and never imagined we’d be asking for help. But the emotional and financial toll is heavy, and we cannot do this alone.
On behalf of my husband, our children, and myself, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any support you can give. -Kelly Gonyeau AKA Mrs. Wolfie
