Support Coach Jean Varas in Her Fight Against Ovarian Cancer

We’re rallying behind someone who has given her heart and soul to the game — and to all of us — Coach Jean Varas.

Jean is more than just a coach. She’s a pillar of the Florida soccer community — a beloved coach at Florida Kraze Krush, a proud University of Central Florida alumna, and a former player for the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team. For years, Jean has dedicated herself to mentoring, inspiring, and building up young athletes both on and off the field.

Now, she’s facing the fight of her life.

Jean has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of ovarian cancer. She recently underwent a major surgery and, starting next week, will begin chemotherapy. The road ahead will be long and challenging — physically, emotionally, and financially.

As Jean prepares for this next chapter, she needs the support of the community she’s always lifted up.
