Hi, my name is Andrea, and I’m raising funds for the two most important women in my life — my mom and my Nana. Back in July, they both had major back surgery on the same day. It left my mom unable to work for over four months and both of them struggling to recover. They have stayed positive and full of faith through everything.

Just as my mom finally returned to work, another devastating setback hit. On Sunday, October 26th, she was rushed by ambulance to the ER in unbearable pain and unable to walk. We learned she now has a bulging disc and will require another surgery immediately. After surgery, she will need a 5-day rehab stay just to relearn how to walk. She currently cannot stand, walk, or even get to the bathroom without assistance — which means she cannot work and has no income coming in.

To make everything even harder, they are being forced to move by December 1st. They are down to only my Nana’s social security to survive, and with all the medical setbacks, moving costs and basic living expenses feel impossible for them to handle alone.

My mom and Nana have always been the ones to show up for others. They have fought so hard and held onto their faith, but now it’s time for their village to show up for them.
