I never imagined I’d be writing something like this, but life has a way of throwing unexpected challenges our way. This past year has turned my world upside down, and now, I find myself in the hardest fight of my life—battling cancer while trying to help keep my family afloat.

I’ve always been the kind of person who pushes through, who finds a way no matter what. But right now, I have to admit—I can’t do this alone. I need help.

My Journey & Diagnosis

In October of 2023, I received the devastating news: I was diagnosed with Triple Positive Breast Cancer. Everything changed in an instant. The fear, the uncertainty, the overwhelming medical decisions—I was thrown into a world I never expected to be part of. Since then, it has been an exhausting journey of doctor’s appointments, treatments, and days where even getting out of bed feels like a battle.

Through it all, my husband, Brian, and our four children—Everett (12), Bailey (10), Tucker (7), and Noah (5)—have been my greatest source of strength. They are my reason for fighting. But cancer doesn’t just take a toll on the body—it takes a toll on every aspect of life, especially financially.

Why I’m Asking for Help

Cancer treatment is expensive. Even with insurance, the medical bills are piling up. Between hospital visits, chemotherapy, radiation, medications, and ongoing care, the costs are staggering. On top of that, I’ve had to miss work for treatments and recovery, making it even harder to keep up with our financial obligations.

The $15,500 we’re hoping to raise will go directly toward:

✅ Medical Bills – Covering past and upcoming treatments, hospital stays, and specialist visits.

✅ Prescriptions & Treatments – Medications, therapy, and follow-up care to give me the best fighting chance.

✅ Housing & Living Costs – Making sure we can keep up with rent/mortgage, utilities, and essentials while I’m unable to work.

✅ Missed Wages – Helping to cover the financial gap from time off work so we can focus on my recovery instead of just survival.

When We Need Help

Unfortunately, cancer doesn’t wait, and neither do the bills.

Immediate Needs: Covering urgent medical treatments and overdue medical bills.

Next 3-6 Months: Preparing for the next phase in my treatment schedule and ensuring we can keep up with expenses.

By End of the Year: Ensuring that all medical and recovery-related costs are covered so I can focus on healing and being there for my family.
