Stand with Chris Ehlers Huckabey in Her Fight for Life

Chris Ehlers Huckabey needs our help.

This past October, Chrissy was diagnosed with Small Cell Lung Cancer, an aggressive form of lung cancer. After experiencing pain in her chest, Chrissy was seen by a doctor who ordered a CT scan. An hour later, they saw the mass and immediately ordered a biopsy. Chrissy is currently undergoing 6 rounds of outpatient chemotherapy and twice-daily radiation treatments. Surgery is not an option. After chemotherapy and radiation, she will have 2 years of immunotherapy.

Chrissy is a single mom to an amazing 15-year-old daughter and is trying to do everything she can to make sure this does not affect her daughter. Due to the nature of her treatments and her diagnosis, Chrissy has been unable to work. She is a smart, funny, and sweet woman who, when not working and designing kitchens, enjoys crafting and cooking. Her apple pie should be in contests!

Chrissy’s battle with cancer is a full-time commitment, leaving her unable to work while she focuses on her recovery and wellness. This courageous woman and her family, who have given so much to our community, now need our support. Please consider helping Chrissy in her fight against this disease.
