Stand with Chris: Aid His Long Recovery

Update 5/4: Went to ortho follow up and they said he’s healing good. Doc said skin graft is doing good. Stitches and staples came out, but pins in his toes have to stay in another 3 weeks. Trama surgeon follow up on the 29th went good too, everything is healing like it should. Initiated PT today, they said it’s up to us how many days a week he goes. He’s still walking with a walker and using the wheelchair. Hurts to move his leg still and the swelling is painful. But he is a lot better then he was a month ago laying in that ER Trauma bay.
Keep the prayers coming, he still has a long way to go.
Update: 4/24
After 20 long days at Tampa General, Chris has been discharged! Now he can really begin healing and getting better. Still not sure when he’ll be back to work, he has a long road to recovery. Walking is getting better, but still really painful.

motorcycle accident 4/4 Everyone who’s shared posts, donated, called, texted, visited, sent goodies, kind gestures, etc. We cannot thank y’all enough. We are blown away by the support we are receiving from everyone. Chris is doing so much better than he was a week ago. He’s able to come off IV meds now He’s getting his strength back day by day and moving around better too(still having difficulties walking, but PT is working with him). His skin graft is doing good, wounds healing nicely, toe pins will come out on discharge day as well as the wound vac. He still has a long way to go and once he’s discharged from the hospital(hopefully this next week), he’ll be going to inpatient rehab for about 2 weeks. He’ll be working his ass off with PT to get back 100% so he can return to work. We rely on his income to survive so we need him back better than before lol. Keep the prayers coming and your support means the world to us https://gofund.me/3890e14e

First and foremost we ask for prayers for Chris that he find strength and healing in this difficult time. Your prayers are powerful and do believe in miracles.
We don’t even know where to start and really out of our comfort zone asking for help, but we don’t know what the future holds.
Chris is the “backbone” for many, the type to give you the shirt off his back never expecting anything in return, but right now he needs y’all to pull through for him.
Chris was in a bad motorcycle accident Friday night on 275 when a car came into his lane and pushed him onto the rumble stripes causing him to lose control. He’s pretty banged up and has a long road to recovery. He’ll be out of work for at least 6-8 weeks minimum, depending on how fast he’ll be able to walk again and his extensive road rash. The road rash will be the longest recovery I believe, it covers a good amount of his left side and will need skin grafts.
Both knees have punctures into the joints, they had to do surgery to clean out both knees to ensure infection doesn’t take over. They pinned his right big toe due to the large laceration and ripped off toe nail. They also pinned his pinky toe on the other foot too. He also has some lower back fractures at L 3, 4, & 5, but they said those don’t need surgery as of right now. There’s a few other small injuries too.
He’s in a lot of pain right now and can’t really move to good.

Your donation, no matter the size, will help lessen the burden and allow the Fulton’s to focus on recovery. If you are unable to help financially, please share this with friends and family to get his story out there.
We are forever grateful for any help received.
God bless.
