Our Fire Chief, Tim Sendelbach, has faithfully served our community with professionalism, integrity, and dedication. Under his leadership, our fire department has strengthened training standards, improved public safety services, and built a culture centered on accountability and excellence.

On January 28, 2026, Chief Sendelbach was placed on paid administrative leave by the Loveland Fire Rescue Authority (LFRA) Board. To date, the Board has not publicly stated the reasons for pursuing his termination.

While the LFRA Board has the backing of taxpayer-funded resources, Chief Sendelbach must personally fund his legal defense. Ensuring fair representation requires experienced, high-quality legal counsel and that comes at a significant cost.
